Der HP ProLiant DL365 Gen11 ist ein leistungsstarker Server im 1U-Rack-Design für eine platzsparende Installation. Konzipiert für anspruchsvolle Rechenaufgaben und Workloads in Rechenzentren und Unternehmensumgebungen bietet er hohe Zuverlässigkeit und Skalierbarkeit.
Auf der Backplane ist Platz für bis zu 8x 2,5 Zoll HotSwap Festplatten, welche im laufenden Betrieb gewechselt werden können. Dies ermöglicht eine einfache Wartung und Erweiterung des Speichersystems, ohne die Verfügbarkeit der Daten zu beeinträchtigen. Es werden die Schnittstellen SAS, S-ATA und NVMe unterstützt. Um alle drei Modi gleichzeitig zu bedienen, bedarf es einen zusätzlichen Controller mit Tri-Mode Technologie. Dieser kann über den Konfigurator hinzugefügt werden.
Der HP ProLiant DL365 Gen11 weist zwei SP5 CPU-Sockel auf, die für AMD EPYC Prozessoren der 4. Generation ausgelegt sind. Es können also bis zu zwei dieser leistungsstarken Prozessoren betrieben werden, welche speziell für Hochleistungs-Server und Rechenzentren entwickelt wurden.
Der Server hat 24 Speichersteckplätze für DDR5-RAM-Module und bietet ECC (Error-Correcting Code) DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Modul) Unterstützung. Diese Konfiguration ermöglicht eine maximale Arbeitsspeicherkapazität von bis zu 6TB und eine hohe Zuverlässigkeit durch Fehlerkorrekturmechanismen. Die Verwendung von ECC DIMM-Speichermodulen hilft, Datenintegritätsfehler zu erkennen und zu korrigieren. Dies verbessert die Stabilität und Zuverlässigkeit des Systems, insbesondere in unternehmenskritischen Umgebungen. Der Server ist mit 2 internen Schnittstellen ausgestattet, die dem OCP 3.0 Standard entsprechen. Es können Storage Controller und/oder Netzwerkcontroller eingebaut werden. Der OCP 3.0 Standard ermöglicht eine effiziente und leistungsstarke Netzwerkinfrastruktur, die den Anforderungen von modernen Serverumgebungen gerecht wird. Durch den Einbau zusätzlicher Storage Controller werden z.B. eine verbesserte Datenspeicherung sowie eine optimierte Datenverarbeitung bereitgestellt. Der fest integrierte TPM 2.0 Chip bietet hardwarebasierte Sicherheitsfunktionen, wie z.B. die Integritätsprüfung von Systemkomponenten und die Unterstützung von sicheren Boot-Prozessen.
Ausgestattet mit einem standardmäßig installierten primären Riser (Haupterweiterungskarte) sowie zwei optionalen sekundären Riser-Karten, bietet der Server Flexibilität bei der Installation von Erweiterungskarten wie Grafik- und Netzwerkkarten oder Speicheradaptern. Die Riser-Karten unterstützen PCIe 5.0, was den neuesten Standard für PCIe-Schnittstellen darstellt. Im Vergleich zu früheren PCIe-Versionen werden hier eine höhere Bandbreite und schnellere Datenübertragungsraten geboten. Damit können spezifische Anforderungen erfüllt und die Funktionalität des Systems ausgebaut werden. Die Option zur Installation der Schnittstellen bietet u.a. Flexibilität bei der Konfiguration und ermöglicht die Anpassung der Netzwerkverbindung auf entsprechende Anforderungen des Einsatzbereichs. Der Server unterstützt keine Software -RAID-Lösungen.Am HP ProLiant DL365 Gen11 befinden sich jeweils zwei interne und drei externe USB 3.2 Gen1-Anschlüsse. Diese Anschlüsse bieten eine praktische Möglichkeit, Peripheriegeräte anzuschließen und die Verwaltung des Servers zu erleichtern. Zudem wird die Videoausgabe per VGA unterstützt.
